Nathan's Exciting Week

Nathan started his exciting week by receiving his Arrow of Light award in Cub Scouts.

He earned it a little early, but it worked out well. He got to share his day with one of his friends (whose name happens to be Nathan). There was a special surprise at the ceremony: We had one of the Young Women come and shoot a flaming arrow into the fire pit to light the fire. It was cool.

Our Scout Master loves to do these ceremonies and he goes all out.The kids love to see him in his Mountain Man Costume.

Today was the final home game for Lacrosse this season. I feel like Nathan is finally getting the hang of it. He played a great game. He played hard and even scored a goal. He just has a tournament on Saturday and then his season is over. We'll see if we can find a league for him to play in next year.
This is the picture I got AFTER he scored the goal. Could I actually get him shooting the goal? Of course not!

Here is the fourth grade team. We actually have twice as many players--a BIG team-- because it is 2nd through 4th grade. These are the boys who will be moving up to the Juniors next year.

On Wednesday, he played a solo for the orchestra concert. He worked really hard on his song. And he played it well. I had to cut just the ending because the whole song is too long to download, but you can get the idea!

Wow, looking over this post, I am struck by two things: How busy that boy is, and how talented he is. We love you Nathan!
